second, after they check in staff attach the baggage tag on your bag they will put your bag on the converyor belt. After that your baggage will go to baggage hall. And the luggage will move outomatically when the baggage move frome baggage hall place. It will arrive to baggage handler to load your bag in the plane.

This tag ensures that your bag will come to the right gate. There is a small tag with a barcode it is crucial because it has the number of your bag. While it is moving there is a scanner that reads the barcode on the tag and tries to transport your bag in the shortest route. ReplyDeleteYour baggage is taken on the conveyor (baggage carousel) to a large gate, where is a security check point where each piece of baggage is x-rayed to see what it contains and to read the baggage tag so the computer system knows the information and the destination. This is the baggage handling system.
Your luggage travels on a conveyor belt through the barcode on the tag which is read many times to make sure your suitcase go in the right direction. Behind the computer there are people working to check and make sure where each suitcase goes, like if a passenger misses his flight, his baggage can be transferred or removed to another conveyor, so it easy for them to know where is it.
At the end your baggage and all the other baggage for the passenger on your flight are colleckted and then loaded to the plane.
When you arrive, all the bags will be unloaded in the reclaim area and placed on a carousel, where the arriving passenger can pick them up.
